I previously rode a Cannondale r600 with a campy set (thanks Dad!). However, it was stolen one day (thanks LA!). I wanted to stick with aluminum bikes since they're a comfortable ride given the price. I did my research for Cannondale and just as I was about to pull the trigger, I saw this Trek in a local bike shop. A 3 minute mobile internet vetting process was good enough at that point. So I hopped on and rode it around in the lot and it felt smooth like warm butter. I've been using it for my work commute and it's amazing. The bike feels so nice that I've started to ride a lot more and I signed up for a 150mi ride through work. It's a great aluminum bike. The best part about this bike is the Shimano 105 set--it's complete. Most retailers will mix and match components, but the complete 105 set on here feels great. You really can't beat the price either.

Just picked up this bike in the waterloo blue color scheme, which I personally find very stylish. It reminds me of a blue lamborghini, which leads me to my next point: this bike is FAST. Coming from a '13 Synapse 7, I must say this is leagues ahead with a full 105 groupset and super lightweight aluminum. This has a very smooth road feel, can hardly feel the bumps. The 105 shifting is as you'd expect, quick and performant, with a deep "click" to them. Huge upgrade from Sora shifters. Getting fitted in a few days to fine tune it to my body, can't wait to take this on many more rides!

Ive had this bike, in the viper red Trek Factory Racing scheme, for a couple weeks now. I love everything about it right down to the satisfying "clunk" sound the derailleurs make when shifting. It handles extremely well and the 11 speed cassette feels flawless when running through the gears. The reach on this bike is spot on. The one gripe I have is the Paradigm Race saddle, it felt like I was sitting a plank of wood; I did change it out with my trusty Arione after a few rides (I gave it a chance!). Oh and did I mention, it only weighs 18 lbs? Pretty good for an aluminum frame!
